Bonginkosi Khumalo is The Chief Magistrate of Ilanga. He is wealthy and one of the most powerful people in the Ilanga Province. He draws unfriendly attention and competition when the masses find out he is about to be sworn in as a Judge to the Constitutional Court of South Africa. With Bonginkosi being a man who wields the power to make or break the law at the stroke of a pen, he is tested by many manipulative characters, from women who beg to be his side piece, to enemies disguised as family, friends and associates. Bonginkosi’s swift rise to power may also prove to be his downfall as the skeletons in his closet begin to emerge, after his mistress is found dead on his office floor.

Church became a refuge for a young Morris to escape Racist Bullying and being an Alter Boy gave him security he had never experienced outside of his home. Remaining rooted in the Church became a way of life for Morris & it shaped his perspective of the world. From attending Church, Morris joined a Monastery. Totally devoted to living a Monks life, Morris worked as a Groundskeeper & was trained as a Butcher – two skills that would serve him well as a Serial Killer.

Some years later, the Soweto uprisings followed, while during the 80s and early 90s the repressive reign of PW Botha prevailed – which later ended with the subsequent demise of Apartheid.
